10th Febuary- well well well , s.o.s finally have released the long awaited ep and if the night was anything to go by it seems that everyone is going to love behind closed doors.the night was started off with shattered bliss with there epic version of artic monkeys when the sun goes down wich set the crowd allight then tilted smile took the stage with there unique blend of indie alternative rock . then it was time for the 4 big guns with there favourtie man on the engineering front. the 4 some blazed throuhgh another "shit hot" set as described by a onlooker
1st January- S.o.S would like to thank everybody who helped the foursome achieve xmas number one on the overplay Indie chart, thankyou all. More great news is that S.o.S have there first gig back this year on 6th January at the much loved Brewhouse, and with the reputation the brewhouse has for live music its sure to be a fantastic night! Nerves will be shaking aswell as S.o.S plan to reveal new tracks to all who attend! So happy new year to you all and hope to see you all soon.

8th November - S.O.S played there first gig in a while after there short post recording break and the host of the first gig back was the school battle of the bands. To the likely lads suprise they came out victorious, The funky foursome played some stiff competition with altra volta van hire dma and air raid .A big thank you to all who came along and made it an extra special evening . The folowing evening due to there performance s.o.s played at the schools annual auturmn concert there set showcased three of the songs off the up and coming ep they where spanish girl ,the show and devls cup . a fun evening was had by all!
29th September - The long awaited E.P is finally here and in full flight as the S.O.S boys take off with a hardcore peice of Indie Funk Rock and Roll under there belts!The E.p soon to be released includes 8 of the finest lick's the S.O.S boys have to offer.For more info on the e.p vist the E.p page!Much love and thanks this week go to all at Arche Recording and more love and thanks to Paul Gibson the man behind the first siteing of bigfoot,the inventer of table-tennis and also the man behind that large and scary mixing desk!!Thank you Paul from all the band for the amazing work you have done!Thankyou!
2nd September - S.O.S played at the much loved Brewhouse last night to a great turn out for all of the bands, S.O.S hit the night off playing with Gecko and Blank Vensants formally The Cyclones for more info on the gig checkout the gig page!
18th August - E.P Time rolls round in the S.O.S camp this month as the lads enter the studio for final recordings and finished touchs. The revamp of the e.p was a choice made by all of the band and devoted fans who all said they would like the E.P to sound even better and to include the great songs the loved so much on the old joint. With having been practising and working very hard in the studio, two new songs have arrived on the scene, one by the name of 'All of that' and the other 'Love or Lust' These songs will not appear on the E.P titled 'Behind closed Doors' but will be played at the first gig back to face the public verdict!!
7th July - S.O.S have had a mad time this week playing at the finals of the Rock the Garrick competition!!First playing at the Garrick on Tuesday 5th July for the semi finals playing against some familier faces and some unfamiler ones!The competition was tough with 10 other bands playing for a chance in the final!S.O.S finally hit the stage playing one of the newer songs in the set "Devils Cup" and then playing "Behind Closed Doors". After listening to the rest of the competition S.O.S then sat back and enjoyed the sensational Marshall band with their crazy french drummer with his huge but amazing drum solo on un-orthodox percussive instruments, such as the stage floor and tommys hat! The judges came out with the results of the nights festivities anouncing White Label as the winning band, then Perception 2nd and then the boys themselves S.O.S in 3rd place!!Unditered by 3rd place the boys came back the next night to play at the final. Aslo other news this week is that Andrew Gilligan and Michael Finnagen were seen fighting in a local car park under Referee Pedro Flabdango!! The fight which we hear was very close was won by Michael Finnagen after Andrew Gilligan fell onto a random cuccumber which entered his body through a rather painfully and eyebrow raising place!!
4th June - S.O.S are excited to announce that they soon will have a custom S.O.S drum skin but even more excitingly a proffessional E.P. which will be available in the Autumn!!Also are being fired on to write more new great materail after the responce and feed back they got on Friday night about the two new songs:Stop and Stall and Devils cup!!
